Alice White is a 14 year old girl with an above average IQ and does excellent in school. There are very high educational expectations of her from all the teachers, and because of that she is very busy. Although some have tried, none of the other kids want to be her friend for long because she always gets piled with work to do and she has no time for a social life, so her friends would always become distant due to lack of contact.

What none of the adults know and expect, is that inside she's still a kid that craves affection and friends. She was forced to become independent and mature due to isolation when her parents died in a car crash when she was 3. Due to this, she lives in an orphanage where a kind old lady takes care of her since she's the only one kind enough to notice her for who she really is and not 'the genius orphan girl'.

One regular school day, Alice goes to the bathroom during the remains of her break to wash her hands. She finishes up and looks at herself in the mirror and frowns. She suddenly wonders why she has all these people placing expectations on her and telling her what to be when all she wants is to be normal and happy. 'What am I, psychic? Superhuman? If only things were different,' she thinks, 'if only I could go to a different place where I would be treated normally and start again with my life!' Alice places her hand on the mirror in front of her thinking very hard about this, when suddenly the mirror starts glowing.

Alice immediately backs away in surprise. 'What the-?' She doesn't even finish her thought when suddenly the light from the mirror increases tenfold and she manages a yell before she whites out.

A while later, she groggily wakes up in an unfamiliar place. Little does she know, is that her life is about to turned up side down in all possible ways. Join her in an adventure to find out what in the name of strawberry cake is going on and...save the world?! What is going on indeed!
